Nicholas Woolf

Overview

Nick was admitted as a solicitor in 1979 and first became a partner in a London firm in 1981. He went on to set up his own firm in London’s West End, which he later merged and then in 2011 went on to establish a further firm Nicholas Woolf & Co specialising in commercial disputes. Since 2021 Nick has been a consultant.

During his lengthy legal career, Nick has gained an unrivalled breadth and depth of experience. This gives him a rare ability to understand, and advise on, a wide range of matters. He also has extensive international experience.

Nick has particular expertise in advising upon shareholder, director and partnership disputes as well as other commercial disputes. He is also highly regarded in family law and family business law and has conducted a number of substantial cases. In addition, Nick has advised and lectured other professionals on anti-money laundering and family law. Nick is a member of, The Law Society’s Small Firm’s Committee, Resolution ,PNLA and POCLA.
